Dear Artists,

The Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival is now planning events for next year. It sounds a long way off, but we hope you will give some thought to adding the date to your calendar.

(The attachment is the Proper Letterhead version of this email.)

The 2013 Festival will be held over the weekend 5 – 7th April.  (The weekend after Easter.)

As usual, Art Alive! runs at no cost to the artists. Artists creating their paintings and drawings or their craft are all welcome, providing interest and colour for the festival, whilst being able to show their skills to the visiting public and have some finished items such as original work, prints or cards available for sale. Marquees with tables will be set up for us all near the footpath in WF Jackson Park, or you can choose a spot (without a marquee) on the street outside The Beaches pub.

More information will be sent in the new year, but please do consider making this a date in your diary to paint in the open – maybe paint ‘the scene’ – engage with potential customers, maybe make some sales, and certainly have a lot of fun!

Please let us know if you are planning to participate in Art Alive! 2013, and if you have artist friends who would like to be included, send us their details or ask them to contact us.

Yours sincerely,

Christine Hill and Carol Roderick

PS The Art Prize Committee will be contacting artists separately re the Exhibition at the Thirroul Community Centre.  You can check the website www.thirroulfestival.com for lots more information
